Paateri was the home of Eva Ryynänen, a local sculptor, and her husband and assistant Paavo. The site is quite beautiful including the artist's home, studio, chapel and café, all designed by the sculptor and full of her works of art. Paateri can be found at Vuonislahti, about 30 km from the Lieksa town centre.

Paateri is open for visitors May 15th - Sept 15th daily 10am - 18pm (at Midsummer Eve 10am - 4pm).

Opening hours in winter 18.2.-11.3.2018 daily 10am - 4pm.
