Välilampi Trail
A versatile hiking route passing through the scenery of Välilampi invites those who enjoy nature to visit.
Description
The Välilampi Trail is part of the magnificent Kontionpolut trail network. The Välilampi Trail invites all nature lovers to experience the many forms of our forests. The trail, consisting of forest roads and winding paths, runs through pine forests, changes to the greenery of birch groves and the open views of forest management areas.
Along the trail, you can rest by the campfire shelter located on the shore of Välilampi and enjoy the peaceful view of the pond. You can light a campfire with dry firewood, which is part of the shelter's equipment. The shelter is easy to access, and the place is especially popular among families with children.
Near the Välilampi Trail is also the barrier-free home campfire shelter at Jaamankangas, made easy to access by everyone. Next to the home campfire shelter there is also a barrier-free outdoor toilet and a woodshed.
The trail is very suitable for walking, trail running, and mountain biking. The terrain is mostly flat but occasionally challenges even experienced visitors with quite steep climbs and descents.
