Braheanpolku is an accessible nature trail built in the landscapes of Varasoja in Lieksa. The nature trail starts from the Evangelical Lutheran church parking lot and ends at the bicycle path. The path is mostly a sturdy plank bridge construction with edges or railings. The last part is leveled crushed stone. The trail is approx. 350 meters and can be used by wheelchair, walker, or pushing a stroller. There are two resting places along the trail. The path is made within touching distance of trees. The species on the route include silver fir, common spruce, larch, and birch. The pits visible in the terrain are storage pits from the old Varasoja water route.
You can walk these trails separately or as a loop starting from either the harbor or the church parking lot.
