Musta Circuit, Outokumpu

The Musta Circuit is a well-marked hiking route around the Musta and Ravin-Kaita lakes.

The area includes:

• lean-tos
• a kota (traditional hut)
• fireplaces
• a cooking shelter
• toilets
• fishing opportunities
• boat rental facilities

Rocky paths can be slippery when wet.

The easiest access points to the route include Mustantammi, Salmi, or Lasten kalakeidas.

Drive about 5 km from Outokumpu along Rikkarannantie, then turn right onto Ravilahdentie. From there, turn left to Mustantammi, Salmi, or to the end of the road at Lasten kalakeidas.

There are parking areas at all starting points.

You can also access the route from Salmi or Lasten kalapaikka in addition to Mustantammi. The spots are signposted along Ravilahdentie. All locations have parking areas.
