Mäntypolku - Patvinsuo National Park’s versatile small route
The trail through the pine dunes is a family hiking route with plenty to see and experience. Along the path, you will see both the changing exhibitions of nature and human-made environments.
Description
Along the route there is a beautiful sandy beach at Suomunjärvi, root trails, shimmering ponds and beaver lodges. On the hike, you get to explore Patvinsuo’s oldest building, a forest fire area and a charcoal kiln. The route is a favorite destination for day visitors.
The path is very easy to walk and is marked with a blue circle. At the end of the wonderful nature experience, you can enjoy the diverse services of the Suomu nature cabin.
