Description

Lehmonharju Trail is a great route for everyday exercise. Although Lehmonharju Trail is not the longest route, do not be deceived by it, as the route has both climbs and descents that nicely raise the heart rate. Lehmonharju Trail also serves as an excellent connecting route to other Harjupolku routes.

Lehmonharju Trail is ideal because of its location, as the route is right in the heart of the Lehmo district. It is easy to reach the route by car or other vehicles, or you can just stop by on your way and continue towards your destination.

Near Lehmo sports field you will also find fitness stairs for a good stair workout.

Location & Parking

When arriving from Joensuu or Kontioniemi direction, turn from the intersection of Vanha Nurmeksentie and Urheilukentäntie. Continue forward and you will arrive.

You can also access Lehmonharju Trail via the path next to Hotel Julie.

You can reach the vicinity of Lehmonharju Trail by Joensuu region public transport bus. From the stop it is about 300 meters walk to Lehmo sports field, where the route begins.

From Lehmonharju Trail there is a connection to Onkilampi Trail (blue) and Jaama Trail (orange), as well as to the Harjupolku routes.
