Koskikierros – A Circular Trail by the Lakes and Rapids of Ruunaa
Description
The hiking trails are fairly easy to follow. The wettest bogs can be crossed on long poles and path bridges have been built over the streams. Along the trail there are conveniently spaced campsites and fireplaces where you can enjoy a picnic lunch and rest. The route is marked on the ground with yellow landmarks.
You should allow 1-2 days for the hike. It is possible to go raft fishing in Hapavitja, Neitikoski, Murrookoski and Siikakoski. You can take a shorter route by crossing the river by boat at Kattilaniemi or Vastuuniemi.
