Korsukierros - a nature trip to Änäkäinen's war history
The Korsukierros of the Änäkäinen recreational area is a nature trail about 1.4 kilometers long, passing through varied forest and ridge landscapes in wartime historical areas known as battle sites during the war along the Rukajärventie.
Description
Along the route, you can explore restored dugouts, trenches, and information boards that describe the area's history from World War II. The route is well suited for day trips and is clearly marked with signposts in the terrain.
