Kolinuuro circuit in Koli National Park
A magical route next to Kolinuuro, revealing geological secrets.
Description
A time travel route with great elevation differences, rocky areas, roots and steep stairs. At the magical waypoints along the route you will find various natural phenomena, discoveries shaped by natural history, and wonders. Due to its difficulty, the route is best suited for children over six years old. Allow 2-3 hours to complete the route and pack a picnic to enjoy, for example, at Kaikukallio. You can find the route description with photos on the Luontoon.fi website.
The route is marked with red circle signs. The Prime Minister’s campfire site is near the Kolin Nature Center Ukko at the start of the route (bring your own firewood). Please note that there are no toilets along the route.
