Jongunjoki lake trail
In the magnificent lake scenery of Jongunjoki, a ski trail of about 10 kilometers invites you to ski. Dogs can also be taken along for hiking on this trail!
The route can be accessed from the Kivivaara intersection parking lot. It is advisable to ski across the fields and cross Kuhmo's road at the woodshed shown in the picture (it is a safer place). If you ski around both lakes and the fields on the route, the loop is about 10 km long.
Description
Please fill out this form when using the trails and ice hole maintained by the Jongunjoki village association. Please note that not all trails are necessarily always in good condition. It is worth following the situation in the village association's Facebook group or the members' WhatsApp group.
Statistics are very important for applying for possible grants and for continuing maintenance!
In the Jongunjoki village, there is also a trail along the former illuminated trail, which was opened for winter 2026.
