Heinävesi - Pääskyvuori illuminated ski trail

The Heinävesi - Pääskyvuori illuminated ski trail offers fast descents in hilly terrain on well-maintained tracks. The route runs between the Heinävesi church village and the Pääskyvuori ski resort. During the opening hours of the Pääskyvuori ski slope, skiers are served by the slope café right next to the track, which offers salty and sweet snacks, refreshments, as well as heartier meals. The track is moderately difficult due to the fast descents. The tracks are excellently maintained for both classic and skating skiing styles.

The Heinävesi - Pääskyvuori illuminated track is a figure-eight shaped route. From the Heinävesi church village, you start to the left, i.e. clockwise. In the middle, you travel briefly on a two-way trail and the loop on the Pääskyvuori side is done counterclockwise. The tracks mostly have good signposts and the fast descents are well warned in advance.
