Heinälampi Trail, Liperin Kinttupolut
The Heinälampi Trail of Liperin Kinttupolut winds along the shores of beautiful kettle ponds and through pine forests. There are two lean-tos along the route where you can take a snack break.
Description
The Heinälampi Trail winds along the shores of beautiful kettle ponds through pine forests. Along the route, there are two lean-tos at magnificent spots on the shores of Heinälampi where you can take a snack break. Heinälampi Trail is a moderately difficult route in the Liperin Kinttupolut (map). The technical difficulty of the paths varies from easy ski trail bases to challenging cobblestone paths. The technically most difficult section is the northern Heinälampi spur to the lean-to, which can be skipped if desired, making the route passable with less experience.
Heinälampi Trail is marked on the terrain with green color.
A special feature of the route are the large round depressions, kettle holes, formed during the Ice Age as large ice blocks melted among gravel ridges and pine heath forests.
The Liperin Kinttupolut network includes a total of eight excellently marked routes in addition to the downhill routes of Pärnä Bike Park.
You can spend several days on the Kinttupolut and the Joensuu region trails!
