Description
The Heinälampi Trail winds along the shores of beautiful kettle ponds through pine forests. Along the route, there are two lean-tos in stunning locations on the shores of Heinälampi, where you can take a snack break. Heinälampi Trail is a moderately challenging route on Liperin Kinttupolut (map). The technical difficulty of the paths varies from easy ski tracks to challenging cobblestone paths. The rockiest section is the spur to the lean-to at Iso Heinälampi.
The Heinälampi Trail is marked on the terrain with green color. The trail consists of one loop, plus an out-and-back route to the lean-to at Iso Heinälampi.
A special feature of the route is the large round depressions, called kettle holes, which formed during the Ice Age as large glacial boulders melted among esker ridges and pine forests.
The Liperin Kinttupolut network includes a total of eight excellently marked routes, in addition to Pärnä Bike Park downhill routes.
