Author tips:
At both ends of Saarijärvi there are comfortable rest areas and dry toilets. From the Kaksinkantaja junction, you can also detour to the Laklaniemi fireplace on the Jongun River, about 2.5 km away. At the same time, it is worthwhile visiting the battlefields in the area.
