SHOOTING THE RUUNAA RAPIDS

Enjoy a thrilling 4-hour wooden boat or rubber raft tour down the Ruunaa Rapids along the River Lieksanjoki. Those with a thirst for adventure would try paddling down the surging Ruunaa Rapids on a rubber raft with a professional guide! During the tour you will be taken ashore for a delicious wilderness lunch with Karelian specialities.

The Ruunaa hiking area is located on the eastern side of the town of Lieksa around the rapids.

Period: May-October 2011
Duration: 4 hours
Group size: minimum 6 persons. Individual travellers: Ask for set departure times!
Price: by wooden boat from 40 €/person, by rubber raft from 44 €/person.

Price includes: Guided rapids shooting tour on a wooden boat or a rubber raft and wilderness meal during the tour.
